“Twelve Angry Men” – Congratulations!

Congratulations to our pupils and staff on such a professional performance, thoroughly enjoyed by the whole Academy community and guests from the local area.   If only we could see it all again!

Principal’s message from event programme:

Welcome to the Academy production of “Twelve Angry Men”.  You may have seen Reginald Rose’s famous work on screen but our cast of very talented young people, under the direction of Mark Shields and Mr Marc Clements, have produced a performance that will captivate your attention right to the last minute.  I have been endlessly impressed with the commitment, enthusiasm and sheer talent of this group of young people as they have worked to perfect their roles over the past weeks and months.  I know you will be equally impressed when you see the fruits of their efforts.  I know you will join me in praising the cast and their teachers for the hours of preparation invested in bringing this performance to you.  I would also like to thank the parents of our cast for their unstinting support and all the other members of staff who have assisted in so many ways to bring this production to the stage.  Excellent though the performances are, we need an audience to appreciate and share in the drama and I would like to thank you for your support tonight and throughout the year.  I hope you enjoy the evening.  – Fintan Donnelly
