The Fine Art of Collaboration

The Fine Art of Collaboration

Opening this week in the Ranfurly House Arts and Visitor Centre is  a highly distinctive exhibition showcasing the Art and Design work of pupils from both the Academy and the Royal School, Dungannon.  This unique artistic and cultural collaboration between the two schools is a much anticipated event in the local arts world and draws widespread acclaim from visitors, both near and far.  It  forms part of a wider portfolio of shared cultural and educational activities between the Academy and the Royal  School which greatly enriches the students understanding of difference and diversity whilst enhancing their appreciation of working together.  Congratulations to all the young artists and to their teachers and a special wee mention to Academy Year 14 student, Lana Kernan, whose work graces the front cover of the Ranfurly House Arts guide.  The exhibition runs from the 15 September to the 26 September and takes place in the exhibition space on the second floor of the Ranfurly House.

Let the Artfest begin.
