Reasons to be Cheerful
Well done to all the young Pioneers who took part in our wonderful celebration of temperance just before Easter.
We were blessed to mark the tenth anniversary of the Pioneer group in the Academy in the presence of Senator Frances Black
and Mickey Harte, whose late daughter Michaela inspired the project ten years ago. Thanks to Mrs Evelyn Black, Mrs Catherine Strain
and Mrs Mairead Duffy for all their efforts on behalf of the Pioneers and to Fr Aidan McCann for celebrating the anniversary Mass.
We wish all our young Pioneers well in the years ahead and thank them for the outstanding example which they are setting in these confused times.
For those seeking more information on addiction of any kind you may wish to contact The Rise Foundation:
which was established by Frances Black following her own struggle with addiction.
The Rise Rathlin Ramble takes place tomorrow if you are up for the challenge. Go on!
