Keeping the Tradition Alive

Keeping the Tradition Alive

As the 1st February approaches it is fitting that we mark the end of Catholic Schools Week with one of the most cherished dates in the Irish Catholic calendar, the Feast Day of St Brigid.
Thanks to Miss McAtasney, many of our students are being given the opportunity to learn the Celtic craft of cross-making and take part in what is a beautiful and uplifting spiritual tradition.  The crosses will be blessed on Friday by our school chaplain,  Fr Ryan Mc Aleer.
