Keep The Faith
A big thank you to all the organisers of the truly wonderful Diocesan Awards Ceremony which took place in the beautiful surrounds of Armagh Cathedral last Tuesday night. It was an outstanding evening of witness, testimony and celebration made all the more poignant by the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy. It is truly uplifting that so many of the Academy’s Sixth Formers are prepared to give of their time and their energy to play their part in enriching the life of the Diocese. Special thanks to Archbishop Eamon Martin for his flawless stewardship of the event, to Fr McAleer and Father McHugh, and to all the members of the ADYC for their outstanding efforts in designing and delivering such a prayerful and meaningful occasion for all. Thanks, also, to Mr Dermot Kelly, the event organiser, and to our own Chaplain, Fr Aidan McCann, for all his on-going spiritual pursuits in the Academy. And, of course, to the quietly inspirational, Miss Ciara McAtasney, for her immeasurable work in preparing (and cajoling!) the students for their parish undertakings. And finally, and most importantly, a huge ‘Well Done!’ to all those who received their Awards.
