You can count on the Academy

A big thank you to all the teachers and students in the Maths department for taking part in the Children in Crossfire Maths Challenge and raising the sum  of £560.  This much needed money will go towards  funding the many initiatives through which the  charity enhances the lives of young people across the world.  Through its extensive network of  international programmes, Children in Crossfire engages with parents, communities, frontline professionals, local decision makers and government  policy makers to ensure that there are lasting positive outcomes for the lives of young people across the globe.  Thanks to all our budding mathematicians who were up for the challenge and to Mr Wray, the man with the magic fundraising formula.  When it comes to supporting good causes, the Academy will always stand up and be counted.
