Top Achiever in A Level Computing

Top A’Level Computing Student Angela Cullen, St Patrick’s Academy scored one of the top five marks (out of 3600 candidates) in A’Level Computing (AQA). Angela also achieved Grade A in A Level Chemistry, Biology and Maths. A past pupil of St. John’s. PS, Gilford, Angela, pictured with Mr Owen Gribbin, Head of Computing, will soon begin to study medicine at The Queens University, Belfast.

A* in Year 10

Congratulations to the following Year 10 students from St. Patrick’s Academy, Caoimhe Herron, Dale Corrigan and Eamonn Gough-Duffin on achieving an A* grade in GCSE Irish. The students who are past pupils from Gaelscoil Uí Néill have already started their studies in AS level Irish. They are pictured with Mrs Mary Coyle, Head of Irish.

Young Writers Competition

Congratulations to St. Patrick’s Academy students Celine McGarrity (Winner) and Kathyrn O’Brien (runner up) in The Young Writers ‘Away with Words’ competition. Their work was selected from over 37000 poems. The students are pictured with Mrs Lisa O’Neill, Head of English.
