Alice Inquiry
Instructions It is possible to see what books are available in both libraries by using Alice
Inquiry; this search engine is available on all PCs and can be accessed by
Clicking on All Programs-Core Programs-Alice Enquiry.

Booking the Libraries
Both libraries can be booked by teachers who wish to research particular topics.
If you let the librarians know what you intend to focus on they can also order
additional materials from SELB to ensure plenty of resources are available.

Both libraries house a range of periodicals which can be used by Staff and
Students in the library.

The senior library houses a range of fiction books which can be borrowed by
staff as well as students. Additional titles may be
ordered if you have any
suggestions.

Library projects may be developed for subject departments with assistance from
Mrs McIlvanna.
Ordering books from the Libraries
Members of staff
who would like to order books/DVDs for
either the Junior or Senior library please complete a book request form and
forward to Mrs McIIvanna. In particular, staff may
be interested in ordering new books for the A level specs
that have changed and project material aimed at encouraging
independent research. The BBC and channel 4 on-line shops are quite
good for DVDs.
